Mm-podcast-250-finalWhen an artist or producer decides to keep a song for consideration on a recording project and asks that the song not be actively pitched elsewhere, they ask to put it “on hold.”

That's what happened to Denny Sarokin. His song, "Sanibel," got the interest of music legend Graham Nash, who put it on hold. And 18 years later, it was finally released on a Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young album.

In this episode of the Music Marketing [dot] com Podcast, Wendy talks to Denny about this song, how it was discovered, and the ups and downs of finally getting it recorded and released.
