"If it's worth performing, it's worth recording."

As you know from reading Six-Figure Musician and spending time on this site, I have a philosophy that "if it's worth performing, it's worth recording."

By getting everything you perform "on tape," you create opportunities for yourself and your music:

  • Something to sell to your fans (which makes you more money)
  • Something to give away to your fans (which keeps them from forgetting about you)
  • Something to encourage existing fans to tell others (which gets you more fans)

The better you are at recording yourself, the more successful you'll be in the music business.

So what's the best way to do this?

There is no "best" way, but the industry standard is Pro Tools. You're probably already using it...

Disc Makers has a FREE 50-page tutorial, made just for musicians, to help you get better recordings from Pro Tools. Whether you're just setting up your first Pro Tools session or you're a seasoned pro, you'll learn a lot about this powerful recording tool with tips and techniques presented through screen shots and easy-to-understand explanations.

But it gets even better... It includes a "behind-the-scenes" look at a studio session with the band MUSE -- a real life example you can emulate with your next recording.

Although the guide is specifically about Pro Tools, it has some things you'll want to know, even if you're using other software, like GarageBand or Audacity. You'll learn how to make your recorrdings sound better, get deeper control of your audio interface, and get more from your mixer, regardless of the software you're using.

Get your free copy now. And once you get something recorded, I want you to send it to me. I'm always looking for good music for my radio show, Music Business Radio (which is recorded on Pro Tools, by the way).

My address to send a CD (and press kit) to:

Tuned In Broadcasting, Inc.
